From 12.45 - 2 pm: NHS Health and Wellness Checks
The NHS will be providing health and wellness checks, including:
- Blood glucose checks
- Blood pressure checks
- BMI (Body Mass Index) assessments
- Immunisation signposting
- Smoking cessation support
- Alcohol management advice
- General health and well-being discussions
From 1 - 2 pm: Knitting & Crochet Circle with Sandwiches & Refreshments
Join us for a relaxing crafting session, with all materials provided. Experienced knitters and crocheters will be available to assist beginners and those looking to improve their skills. Crafting is optional, so feel free to drop in for a friendly chat, sandwiches, refreshments, and signposting support. No booking required—just show up!
From 2 - 3 pm: Education Law Talk
An education lawyer from Harrow Law Centre will be giving a talk covering important topics such as:
- School admissions and exclusions
- Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Local Education Authority (LEA) policy decisions
- School curriculum disputes
- Higher and Further Education funding
