About the event

In this introductory hand sewing lesson from 1 to 2.30 pm, we will build upon the foundation laid in our first and second sessions. We will review the patterns, stitches, and seam techniques learned previously and demonstrate how to apply them in creating a pouch bag. This session is designed to be suitable for all skill levels. If you missed our first and second sessions, fear not! You are still welcome to attend, and our dedicated assistants will be available to help you catch up on the basics. Stay tuned by checking the RWN events page for the dates of these follow-up sessions.

Whether you're a newcomer to the world of hand sewing or an experienced crafter seeking to enhance your skills, this lesson series promises to be engaging, interactive, and rewarding. By the end, you'll not only have mastered essential techniques but also have a beautiful, handcrafted pouch bag to proudly showcase your newfound talents.

Additionally, we will provide guidance on how to repair holes in clothing, enabling you to mend and extend the life of your garments. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sewer, this lesson series promises to be enjoyable and educational. By the end of all the sessions, you'll have mastered essential sewing skills, learned valuable repair techniques, and have a beautiful pouch bag to showcase your craftsmanship.

Then, from 2.30-3 pm, enjoy food and an opportunity to socialise and connect with fellow attendees.

We understand that the hardest part can sometimes be walking through the door, but our non-judgmental and friendly team will be there to support and encourage you every step of the way. If you're feeling overwhelmed or uncertain, please give us a call at 07414 932 902.

We suggest a £2 or more donation to support our services, which can be made online (https://wonderful.org/pay?fndr=1616) or in person at the event. However, if you're unable to contribute financially, please still join us. We value building a supportive community!

It would be lovely to see you there! :)
